We’ve been supporting the system administrator and .NET developer trainings offered by Bruxelles Formation for several years now and we are always looking for ways to improve our approaches. Last year, we decided to organize a first hackathon with the .NET students as a way to finalize their training. Since it was a real success, we naturally decided to reiterate the experience this year.
We asked companies to submit interesting challenges the students can pick to work on. In collaboration with front-end developers from Cepegra and student business profiles from business and marketing schools such as Solvay, Ihecs or Ichec, the .NET developers will take on the challenges and deliver their own version of the ideal solution at the end of the 2 days. The various teams will then present their solutions during a pitching session on March, 21.
All those candidates will start looking for a job once their training is over. This hackathon is a great opportunity for them to get a good professional experience that involves team management, time management and project management, all the while working outside their comfort zone.
