The MIC Brussels Boostcamp is a complete program aiming to help entrepreneurs from the ICT* sector to accelerate the start of their business.

This program addresses beginners on the one hand (with the 3 days of kick-off), and also more confirmed entrepreneurs on the other hand that have just launched their business. The MIC Brussels Boostcamp is composed of a series of trainings, workshops and conferences that are delivered during a 4 month period.

The First MIC Brussels Boostcamp will be run from the 26th of October 2011 to the 28th of February 2012 in the MIC Brussels headquarters in Etterbeek.
2 Boostcamps in total will be held in Brussels during year 2011-2012.

The MIC Brussels Boostcamp pursues 6 core goals with concrete deliverables:

• During PHASE 1 and the three intensive introductory Kick-Off Days
  • To provide you with core and fundamental tools to help you structure and develop you project.
• Then during PHASE 2 and the sequence of focused workshops.
  • With the expert Days : to provide you with the opportunity to confront your projects to professionals with concrete experience from the field
  • To give you tools to position and sell your solution at best
  • To help you build your financial plan, and if you are eligible to fill in a form for pre-activity funding
  • To help you build a Proof of Concept of your project, by giving you access to technical session and IT architecture guidance.
  • To teach you how to pitch on your project in an efficient way and to adapt to your audience.

How does it work ?

Each boostcamper participates first of all to the PHASE 1 : the 3 first kick-off days. This kick-off session will held on the 26^th, 27^th and 28^th of October 2011. Trainings are held from 8:30 until à 18:00. Individual and group works are scheduled also in the evenings.

If you are selected after PHASE 1, you can then attend the PHASE 2, and follow the trainings starting from November the 14th until 28th of February.
This PHASE 2 is composed by a series of different 2-days workshop focused on the following themes: How to build a Business Model, Finance Plan, Marketing and Web 2.0, Pitching, and one-to-one meetings with Experts.

NB: if you can’t attend the 3 kick-off days end of October, you can either go directly to the Boostcamp Selection day on 3rd of November (click here to register) or participate to the Startup Weekend, on the 21-23rd of October. If your startup ends up among the 5 first winning teams, you can then attend the phase 2 of the Boostcamp and win a life Membership to the MIC! 😉
