What is a Startup Weekend ?

Startup Weekend is a 54 hours event to turn an idea into a startup. It’s an intensive brainstorming where 75 participants get together to create startups in a weekend. Objective is to evaluate ideas that could potentially become a concrete and viable company.

From 470 cities of the world, 8.100 startups have been launched and more than 100.000 entrepreneurs have been inspired and stimulated. Some startups have already rise founds and Ventures Capitals.

Who is it for ?

Professionals, entrepreneurs or students who are business developers, designers, developers, project managers, jurists, accountants, commercials, experts in marketing or in communication. Any person who wants to start a company, independently from their experience or profession.

Program:

Friday night: participants pitch optionally their idea of startup. Then, participants make teams based on affinity and required skills for the startup (there is generally 10 startups per weekend).

The weekend: will be working sessions, brainstorming sessions, networking. Teams will present their prototype and Business Model to a Jury of experts and investors.
