The Microsoft Innovation Center Brussels (MIC) is happy to launch the 5th edition of its IT internship program. The objective is to link .NET Developer students in their last year of studies with startups, PMEs & companies from the Brussels Capital Region eager to welcome a student on a coached .NET project during 15 weeks.
What’s so special about the internship?
The extra coaching provided by the MIC professional .NET coach, the selection process & the extra training offered.
The format offered is unique: the intern works for a project in a company 3 days a week and spends the 2 other days at the MIC where s/he gets coached by our expert. This professional support and follow-up maximize the interns’ learning results and the companies’ objectives.
While at the MIC Brussels, the student not only receives extra help from the coach on the internship project, but also extra training to improve his/her skills on themes such as:
Agility, scrum method/Debugging/Pair programming/Elaboration of specifications/Design patterns
During the program, the student will also have the opportunity to take 3 Microsoft Certifications exams for .NET developers.
Who submits the .NET project?
The startups, PMEs & companies submit the internship project. Its feasibility will be assessed by our .NET coach.
How are the interns selected?
The interns have to pass a technical test and submit an online questionnaire. This information will be used to make the best matching between trainees and companies. Once the technical test successfully completed and based on the preferences expressed in terms of project (mobile app, web …), the intern is assigned to the company, our expert making the best match between the intern and the project.

What’s the cost?
For the intern: the program is free of charge
For the startups, PMEs & companies: 4000€ +VAT for 1 intern, 5000 € + VAT for 2 interns on the same project. This amount not only includes the selection process but also the coaching of the project 2 days a week by our MIC Brussels expert.
